You have been so accommodating and just so lovely to communicate with especially during our multiple postponements due to covid.

My couple and I booked in Rod and his team to be our guest transport company for our wedding in the Megalong Valley, Blue Mountains.

I’ll be forever thankful and grateful for making this choice.

Rod drove the unsealed roads for 3 separate wedding venue property viewings, on his own accord to assess the condition of the roads to our privately owned property.

He lent his expertise to us, explaining to us our options during the entire planning process and was an absolute delight, friendly and lovely to work with.

The wedding day was on the weekend of the devastating NSW floods in March 2021. This led to guests changing plans last minute on the day, with many wanting to ride on the guest buses rather than their own cars to the property. Rod was kindly accommodating to all the last minute changes.

The rain was heavy all day which caused the roads to become muddy and some areas to start to flood. Rod assisted us with the last minute route change without any hesitation or issues. His motto is safety first for all.

Rod and his team of drivers were heroic and safely navigated the roads with their vehicles filled with guests and brought our guests to and from the wedding safely and happily.

Rod also came back to the property after dropping the guests to their accommodation to ensured everyone left at the property was able to drive out of the property safely. Rod pulled some vendors and guest vehicles out of the mud from being bogged in the darkness of night.

Just to top it all off, I was the last to leave the property, and Rod escorted me all the way to my accommodation in the pouring rain.

5 stars is just not enough, if there was the option to give a million starts I certainly would.

Rod and his team are no ordinary bus service - the are one of a kind and there is no bus transport service like them in the industry.

What a wedding! Two weeks ago, I never thought I would get married in a natural disaster but I guess sometimes life gives you lemons and sometimes it gives you record-breaking rainfall on your wedding day.

We don't know how to begin with thanking you Rod. Since we first came into contact, you have been simply exceptional with making various trips down the valley to check out different routes. And when the wet weather came, you personally accompanied the shuttles down yourself - thank you so much for the level of attention and care you provided to my guests.

Thank you for getting them safely down natural disaster-level rainfall and terrible roads.

We are also so grateful for you and the team for helping out our guests and vendors whose vehicles became bogged in the mud. All of you were so kind and so selfless.

We also heard how you got each guests back to their own accommodation that night - this leaves us speechless and in awe at how amazing you and your team are.

In some of the ceremony photos, you can see the shuttle bus there and we are so happy that it is in the picture as we would like to show our future children what amazing people were there to help us during our wedding day.

We have transferred additional to your account as a token of our appreciation.

Thank you for essentially saving our wedding (and guests!).

Thank you Near or far bus and coach for getting us home this Christmas in the midst of the bushfires. Our driver was an absolute champion! After our train got cancelled he waited at Katoomba for us and went over and above to make sure we got the travel info we needed for all our bus replacement connections. On a train replacement bus from Sydney to Newcastle, I left my wallet on the seat back in front of me. Never a good feeling! 🙅🏼‍♂️
As I managed to track the bus down, parked on the side of the road, there was the driver Rod. He was in the process of trying to contact me and he even offered to have it delivered/dropped off at my address.

He is a very kind and generous man who went above and beyond to help someone out.

Thanks for a friendly, reliable service when the Springwood train line was down today. Much appreciated.

Myself and 3 friends were stranded with emergency an unannounced track work between Glenbrook and Springwood. We waited while tree separate rail buses told us it was too hard to carry our bikes then along came Rod and without any fuss made it happen. We observed on our journey up the mountains that Rod would go the extra mile to ensure people knew what their options were,
as the rail signage was non existent and very frustrating. Well done Rod, you turned our afternoon from a nightmare to being great.

I hope I have the correct bus company. On Friday afternoon myself & 2 friends were travelling to Blackheath from Sydney when we had a flat tyre. We had this lovely bus driver pull over to help us damsels in distress by changing the tyre for us. Unfortunately I don't know his name , but I just want to give him our heartfelt thanks for helping us out. Regards Barb

Also Rod, apart from your safe and careful driving, I thought your Coach was really comfortable, and great for our members, in particular, our three passenger's who were able to come on our trips now, due to your great lift hoist.

Importantly Rod, would you please pass onto your wonderful wife, who worked so hard to cook those home made scones with jam and cream, our passengers and I all loved them, and now my family are still enjoying the spare scones at home, ( yum yum!! ) So thanks again, you both spoiled us all!

Hi Rodney, a BIG thankyou for getting mum's guests to and from Sydney yesterday. So many commented on your experienced driving and manouvering skills. Three of these comments came from 1 current Chief Police Inspector and 2 retired Police Inspectors. Without you we wouldn't have got them there at all. It was lovely to meet Justine and the girls. Justine was amazing and we appreciated her help so much.
